Becky, aka GypsyJr, just sent me these lovely shots of Paul and Valerie from the newest issue of Sci-Fi Magazine.  I believe she's posting them in the Dresden LJ now.  (Ah, yup!  Here it is!)  Becky has now scanned in the article as well!  Read it below.

Click each image for a larger version.  Or click here for crazy high-res versions:  Harry, Harry and Murphy, and Harry and Corpsegirl.

Click here to check out the article:  Page One, Page Two.

I'm digging the shield bracelet!  Totally different from what I imagined, but utterly fabulous.  And the Harry and Murphy picture?  Must not explode in a fit of shipperish glee...

The article has me going "huh?" in places (Justin, Morgan, wha?), but I'm going to trust Robert and the crew.  I'm delighted that Bob's skull is back, and I think their solution sounds very promising.  And I'm amused at the Board shoutout.  We all sound like nutcases now. Cheesy

If you redistribute these pictures, please upload them to Photobucket or your own server.  Bandwidth leeching isn't cool.

Muchas smoochies for the lovely scan job, Becky!

Thank you.

All these promos are getting me more and more excited

I am going to have to figure out a way to set up a Dresden Files only dvd on my recorder.....  Yes I know, I still have the problem of needing or wanting to record both something on ABC and Harry on the same night

The demon shifted and growled, “This isn’t a social call, Sius.” I smiled coldly at that and let the arm with the gun fall to my side so it was visible to him. “Sure it is. I don’t work for demons anymore.” A scowl touched my face as I added, “So tell your masters to kiss my ass.”

Huh.  Just noticed that Harry and Murphy are looking each other in the eye.  I hope they're not getting rid of the soulgaze for the TV show, but it is one of those things that's much more easily represented in text than on film.  Or maybe the camera just caught a brief, split-second moment, not lasting long enough to trigger one.  Or maybe I should stop this baseless speculation and just sit tight until January.  But we know that's no fun at all! Cheesy

It kinda looks like Harry just glanced up and that's when the picture was snapped.  But I could be wrong.  Sheild bracelet came off better than I was expecting.  I love that picture of him just standing there with the hockey stick of doom.

Oh, and of course: *Fangirl squee*  must not be left out.

IIRC, the shield bracelet in the books is silver and dangly, but this works a hell of alot better on the screen (especially given that silver would look wrong from a costuming angle). I really like this version.
