Jim Interview Posted on Crescent Blues

Teri Smith interviewed Jim at last year's DragonCon. Check it out! CommentsI have never enjoyed reading. In college I only read enough cliff notes to pass a test...I only read the signature line of greeting cards. That was before the Dresden series turned me on to reading. Now I struggle through book after book, hoping to find one that I enjoy as much as the Dresden Files. I have been through Hamilton, Huff, Harris (yuck!), and currently working my way through JD Robb. I have not found any characters that I like as much as Harry and Bob. Every chance I get I tell people they have to read thr Dresden Files. I am so looking forward to the next book. Jim....Your books keep me wanting to read more. I have to say I've read alot of different fantasy and sci-fi but your series is at the top of the list. The humor and horror that is in your books is fascinating. Keep em coming! Posted by: Chad Basford at July 29, 2004 01:56 AMVery nice pictures from the cons Jim. Keep up the great work on the books too! Saint Posted by: Saint at April 6, 2004 10:18 PMJim, love your books. Harry is a great protagonist and the large cast of characters in your books keeps the reading exciting. I hope to learn more about the faery god-mother angle soon. You, laurell, simon r green and j k rowling are my current favorite authors. thanks for the many hours of enjoyment, cant wait for your next one. Thanks, Tabatha Saavedra. Jim,
I am an Australian English/Drama teacher, I love your books! I have to order them from the United Staes, and they cost me three times as much, but I don't care.
I haven't been this excited since I was a kid, and I read Alfred Hitchcock's THE THREE INVESTIGATORS.
I await the next adventure eagerly.
Cheers,
Your greatest Aussie fan.
