Not to throw water on the fire or anything, but...while I like the background and the detail on the clothes, can I say that I cannot *stand* the pose, and I think his proportions make him look like a hobbit? Maybe that's intentional, but...it's just such a cliche'd pose that I can't make myself like it.
Shouldn't it be "Nationally Bestselling"?
I think the pub date for the first Codex Alera book is actually October 2004. It's the next Dresden book that will be out in August.
I do believe we'll be seeing this book in August of this year!
