I have read all of the Dresden File books within the last year and have found that Jim Butcher has a way of creating a charter that is a perfect combination of super abilities and more than human emotions. All the books are an excellent read.

Just discovered the Dresden series in a bookshop in Edinburgh's centre - it seems here they are re-issuing the whole lot, gradually...
I bought the first two, fresh from the printer: at first glance, I like them -- more later.
One thing: I'd enjoy more humour and sarcasm in the main character -- I think Jim has a fantastic sense of humour, which easily transpires through Dresden, and he really should give full vent to it.
I love to laugh out loud! Especially in a paradoxically serious subject as Jim's series.
