White Night is awesome! I purchased it Tuesday. It was sold out in one store, so I humped it over to the next town to acquire it. Jim has got to be happy because he sold so many books. I am happy because I own a copy.

it sorta sad though that he took susan out in the 3rd book. *sigh* but yes the books seem to only get a lot better.

Whoa!!! All I gotta say is that the Dresden Files just keeps getting better and better as the series goes on....and on.... and on.... Harry Dresden kicks Harry Potter's ass any day!!

Definately looking forward to the book.

Also, 2 things.
1. Bestselling Author of X means that the author wrote book X, and has other best selling books, not that book X is a best seller. Yet.

2. At this point, if Harry took up ALL the powers available to him at this point, things would be... Apocalyptic, to say the least.
Wizardly power + Necromancy + Lasciel + Fideliachus + A Warden Sword (he doesn't have one yet, but he has a right to one) = Way to much power. It'd be sick.

While it's true that Harry would kick butt if he took up all the powers available to him, he wouldn't survive much after that. So I'm content for him to be the limited guy he is.

But yeah, I am buying this when it comes out, and then reading it the next night.

Using the pre-order function at Amazon.com, Barnes&Noble, and other online and off-line sites can determine whether or not the book will be a best-seller. Also, what's the odds...The man writes good enough and has a large enough fan base to pretty much guarantee his latest (as long as its Harry-LOL) will sell out! Fast.

I totally cant wait until the next book comes out. Wouldn't it be awesome if he actually took up the powers that he threatened to take up at the end of Dead Beat and totally kicked some ass? It probably wont in this book, but later on in the series would totally be the best thing that ever happened.

I really can't wait for April to come around! Does anyone know why the Paperback of Proven Guilty has "Best-Selling Author of White Night" on it when White Night hasn't come out, yet, therefore, all though I'm positive it will, it isn't a best-seller? I was slightly perplexed. Shouldn't it say "Dead Beat" instead? I don't know; I'm just guessing here.

I can't wait till the book comes out. I just hope Molly isn't all teenage angsty annoying the whole time. I'm tired of female leads in scifi/fantasy books complaining and whining the entire time.

YEAH!!! Butters is in the next chapter! He's the best.

Hi!! AWESOME teasers for White NIght. This is a great time to be a Harry fan!!! This week's sample chapter was just perfect - go Molly, Murph, and Harry! And Butters. Could my day possibly be more complete????
However, I was surprised - I mean, the Bible does not forbid work on Sunday - it's Saturday (the Jewish day of rest) being referred to.

Now that's what I'm talking about! That chapter made me laugh more then some author's entire book. Molly is such a pain in the ass; it's going to be fun reading the rest of the book with her trying to trail along behind Harry the whole time.
God this is a fun series to read! Encore! Encore!

I expect Exodus 22:22-24 to show up as well. To wit:

22:22 Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child. If thou afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all unto me, I will surely hear their cry; and my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.
