Subterrean Press announces Grave Peril
Posted by priscellie at September 4, 2009 10:20 AM

Subterranean Press, publishers of Backup and the illustrated limited editions of Storm Front and Fool Moon, are now offering Grave Peril for preorder! Order today for a $15 discount. From their website:

Grave Peril
by Jim Butcher
(preorder—to be published in December)

Limited: $75 -- Special Price $60
Lettered: $250 -- Special Price $235

Length: 384 pages

Subterranean Press is proud to announce the third of Jim Butcher's Dresden Files novels, in a deluxe collectible hardcover, meant to give a lifetime of enjoyment.

Our edition of Grave Peril will be printed on 80# Finch Opaque, our preferred paper for higher-end limited editions, with a number of full-page interior illustrations, as well as a full-color dust jacket. Vincent Chong will once again be handling the full-color cover and number of black-and-while interior illustrations.

Given the size of the print run, we expect Grave Peril to sell out well in advance of publication. The only way to guarantee you'll receive a copy is by ordering direct from Subterranean Press.

Limited: 500 signed numbered hardcovers
Lettered: 26 signed cloth- and leather bound copies housed in a custom traycase

Order here, and contact Subterranean Press at subpress@gmail.com with any questions.

Dear Jim:

Thanks so much for being a fresh type of writer, I am in the Army and always have my wife mail my copies of your books to me when I deploy so that I'll have something awesome to read! Go Dresden! Woot!

I find it ironic that when I first proposed that Jim Butcher re-release his books in hardcover around 2 years ago I was roundly boo-ed at his website.

Dear Jim, Everyone,
Ahh, how I wish I could have a copy of that book, GRAVE PERIL, in this special form--but I will have to pass on it. I don't have the moola for that. Still, I really hope it sells well.
Jim, I can't WAIT for the next Dresden Files novel!!
Hugs and love,
Tina
