Posted by: david at April 2, 2010 09:57 AM

There is a distinct and severely painful lack of Midwest tour stops. Why do you hate us so much Jim? We promise we love you more than the corn!

Posted by: Brian D. Walton at March 30, 2010 12:52 PM

The Dresden Files RPG will be released at Origins in June. Don't you want to give it a good send off? *sad puppy eyes*

Posted by: Morgan at March 24, 2010 11:20 AM

Posted by: Sara at March 14, 2010 06:08 PM

No love for New England? say Boston?

Posted by: Cal Powers at March 13, 2010 12:58 AM

Planning any trips to Canada any time soon? Say Toronto-ish??? I could spring for pizza and beer.

Posted by: Jason at March 4, 2010 03:34 PM

We'd love to see Jim here in West Central Florida--Atlanta is too far away!

Posted by: Lija at March 3, 2010 08:38 PM

This Coloradan is hoping and praying for a visit from Butcher. Even my husband knows to watch for the new Butcher releases (Dreden or Tavi), because there will be a mandatory trip to the bookstore. :-) If you've got time, we'd love to have you!

Posted by: Jameelah at March 3, 2010 04:33 PM

Please come back to Tennessee! I didn't get to come to last year's appearance due to injury, likewise the appearance in Louisville, KY. Please come back to this area for a signing!

Posted by: Josh at March 1, 2010 10:48 PM

I second the motion for a TN appearance, but specifically Chattanooga

Posted by: Josh at March 1, 2010 06:29 PM

Come to Tennessee!! We folk here need to bear witness to your awesomeness!!

Posted by: Andrew at March 1, 2010 01:22 PM

After seeing Jim's 2010 schedule I feel a little greedy when I hoped he would be coming to Michigan again. Even though I got to see him in Ann Arbor just last year for a book signing. It was pretty sweet to actually get to talk with the man behind such great stories. I also had to give him mad props for sporting the "I godzilla Tokyo" shirt. For all of you who haven't gotten to meet Jim, let me just say he is worth the drive!

Posted by: Chris H at February 28, 2010 02:37 AM

My son and I are hooked. Please come to Boston.

Posted by: joan at February 26, 2010 07:49 PM

Looking forward tn the KANSAS CITY visit. I have not read the DF books yet. But hopefully Jim wont mind signing my Codex collection. EHREN RULES!

Posted by: Aaron ex Cursori at February 26, 2010 12:25 AM

Missing you in Oakbrook, IL. Love your books, and will buy it anyway!

Posted by: Ben at February 25, 2010 07:09 PM

Come to the San Francisco Bay Area. You don't need to do a whole prep and all the jazz. We'll feed you *well* and ply you with drink. It'll be just awesome.
I love your work, Jim.

Posted by: David at February 25, 2010 03:07 AM

So glad you're going to be back in the Pacific Northwest! Gonna do my best to get to the signing in Portland or Seattle.

Posted by: Sulien at February 24, 2010 08:37 PM

hmm closest your gonna be is 6 hours. You know North Louisiana, say SHreveport is a great place to visit. Loads of great food and 5 river boat casino's, and a land based one with a horse track

Posted by: jim at February 24, 2010 04:12 PM

So.....what are we in Colorado, chopped liver? Some people LOVE chopped liver.....any chance of a visit somewhere close to us? Lots of fans in this part of the country, too.....would love you see you out this way!

Posted by: Anita at February 24, 2010 03:55 PM

would've been great to see you in Oakbrook, IL again like the last 2 years. Oh well, maybe next year!

Posted by: Rich at February 22, 2010 11:56 AM

To those East Coasters in the DC/VA/MD area, Huntington, WV is actually not too far of a drive (six hours roughly from DC... I only know because it's my hometown and I travel back every few months). Nice, small, blue collar city. Also, for those that are also sports fans, Huntington is home to Marshall University, who will be playing West Virginia University in Huntington that weekend, so there should be some good football/handegg happening that weekend as well. Of course, in turn, that means that those of you planning to head that way should get your hotel rooms very, very soon as that the game is considered an in-state rivalry. Local towns include: Barboursville, WV (~15 mins); Ashland, KY (~30 mins); Charleston, WV (~ 60 mins); South Point, OH (~30 mins).

Fortunately, I'll just stay with family. Best of luck to the rest of you!!

- Matt

Posted by: Matt at February 19, 2010 11:11 PM

I'm new to all this but I've read the whole Dresden series and I LOVE them -- I live in MD but I don't see you anywhere NEAR there *frowns* You wouldn't by any chance be going to the NYC Comic Con in Oct would you and neglected to jot it down? please oh please say yes

Posted by: Kellie-Merie at February 18, 2010 12:18 PM

You know... Florida's a lovely place to visit (especially central Florida)... just saying, lots of fans down this way too!

Posted by: Kit S at February 17, 2010 11:28 PM

Please come to the East coast sometime soon, there are many New England fans who would love to see Jim there. Both my son and I and most of his friends have read every book. There are a lot of readers in New England! We love your books and miss you!

Posted by: Bonnie at February 17, 2010 10:35 PM

isn't it great to live in Southern California?

sorry east coasters, he'll get there eventually.

Posted by: Justin Garcia at February 17, 2010 08:54 PM

Please Please come to New England!!! We Adore you up here you up here :)

Posted by: Ben at February 13, 2010 09:00 AM

Apparently I have been spoiled seeing you in 2008 and 2009 at the Borders in OakBrook, IL. It will break my heart not to have you this year for the midnight book signing.

Congrats to the winning states.

Posted by: denise at February 11, 2010 05:21 PM

How do you think we feel North of the Border? PLEASE COME TO TORONTO??

Posted by: Crystal at February 10, 2010 08:43 AM

Pleeeeeeeeeeease come to New England! We love you!

Posted by: Jayne Telling at February 9, 2010 08:18 AM

Some of y'all are forgetting (or missed) that Jim did San Francisco on his 2008 signing tour.

Jim gets horribly travel-sick when he travels, and his publisher can only afford to send him so many places each year without cutting deeply into his writing schedule.

Posted by: Fred Hicks at February 8, 2010 02:24 PM

I don't think jim has ever even touched northern california, has he? Come on, man! Or just come to reno or something!

Posted by: Daniel at February 8, 2010 02:18 PM

I really wish you'd go to somewhere Asia sometimes... But I guess when the most hardcore fan can't expect you to fly all the way round the globe. :/

In that case, wish you luck for your tours, Mr Butcher.

Posted by: Sha at February 8, 2010 11:56 AM

Jim,

Come to New England, Start in Boston,MA and head north to Nashua,NH. People will be waiting in line to see you!

Posted by: Robert Mandell at February 6, 2010 11:31 PM

Jim, pretty please with sugar and good energy on top, come to New England. You have a hard core fan group up here (used to work for Pandemonium Books and Games--someone managed to get a review copy of White Night... I was the tenth person to get to read it, and there was a line waiting behind me--every one of us bought the book, too--and you're one of the best-selling authors for that store, and get a hell of a lot more respect than others in the paranormal/urban genre).
Boskone approaches... and don't forget Readercon in July... There's major LARPing up here...
Plllllleeeeeeaaaaaasssssseeeee? I'll bake cookies, dammit!

Posted by: Riz at February 6, 2010 04:41 PM

Dude! New Hampshire! Hell, Boston. I wish he'd come up to the New England area. I have a friend who would just about sell his soul to meet this guy!

Posted by: Heather at February 4, 2010 01:38 PM

Posted by: Alyson Mackenzie-Graham Miles at February 4, 2010 12:04 PM

Can't wait to see you in Houston. We were actually thinking of going to see you in San Diego, although waiting te extra time to get my hands on the book would have surely killed me. Glad that won't be an issue anymore.... until I finish the new book.

Posted by: tatino at February 4, 2010 01:02 AM

Please come to Tampa Bay..

Posted by: wanda at February 3, 2010 10:26 PM

Posted by: sahra at February 3, 2010 06:57 PM

please, tell your agent/publisher/whomever that people like you in new england, too.

signing tours rarely ever seem to come to new england, for some reason.

Posted by: JT Blackstone at February 2, 2010 02:19 PM

No love for northern California Jim? Wondercon? Please?

Posted by: Justen at February 2, 2010 02:17 PM

Ack! Those CA locations are eight hours' drive away. Oh well.

Hint to Jim's publicists: Sacramento. Sure, it's not as big as LA and San Diego, but it's the capital, for crying out loud! And only an hour from a HUGE metropolitan area full of Dresden fans!

Posted by: Michael Johnston at February 2, 2010 01:50 PM

You should come to the UK - we love your books over here! Edinburgh would even fit in with the books!

Posted by: Hollie at February 2, 2010 01:41 PM

Any chance for a Canada tour ? You have a lot of fans in Calgary

Posted by: Christian at February 2, 2010 09:57 AM

Uh...Atlanta is east of the Mississippi, Marsha.

Curse needing to save money this year and disallowing going to DragonCon! This is the second time I've gone to D*C the year before Jim's showed up.

*sigh* I have no luck.

Posted by: Terion at February 2, 2010 09:52 AM

Isn't it nice to know you are wanted. All around the world it seems.
Love the books, keep them coming. Don't let the tour interfer with writing.
Anything more in Alera? Is is such an interesting world.

Posted by: Judy Gibson at February 2, 2010 08:51 AM

Any chance of Montreal?

Posted by: James at February 2, 2010 08:46 AM

Posted by: Phil at February 2, 2010 08:20 AM

Posted by: Peter at February 2, 2010 08:00 AM

Posted by: Tracy at February 2, 2010 07:18 AM

Posted by: Sparky at February 2, 2010 04:16 AM

Jim creates The Best developed characters ever! I am hooked on 'The Wizard' and the 'First Lord'
Hope Jim would consider a visit to the Boulder/Denver Colorado area. The Boulder Book Store is wonderful and there is a brand new HUGE Barnes and Noble in Boulder. Boulder also happens to be one of the most beautiful places in the country....and The Tattered Cover Bookstore in Denver has become THE PLACE for all things books.

Posted by: Jeanney Horn at February 1, 2010 11:05 PM

I would love a Philly visit as well and even settle for Baltimore or NYC

Posted by: Jim at February 1, 2010 09:11 PM

Posted by: The Doctor at February 1, 2010 04:08 PM

How about Europe? It's super expensive to go to the US, and his books are also quite popular here, my favorite bookstore even has the first 10 volumes, and they aren't always to big on the non-teen foreign fiction

Posted by: Camilla at February 1, 2010 04:03 PM

What's wrong with the East Coast. Hartford CT needs Jim!

Posted by: Brian at February 1, 2010 03:51 PM
