Contests, Cons, and Collectibles!

It’s Harry’s birthday! Let’s get this party started with some exciting announcements.

FIRST TWO CONS FOR 2019

We can announce Jim’s first two appearances for 2019! In February, he’ll hit up Colorado Springs for the Superstars Writing Seminars, and in July, he’ll be the Author Guest of Honor at Westercon in Layton, Utah, and his wife Kitty Krell will join him as Cosplay Guest of Honor. Details in our Events section. Hope to see you there!

BADALI JEWELRY COSTUME CONTEST

Badali Jewelry, the svartalf-rivaling creators of the Dresden Files jewelry line, are holding a costume contest! Submit photos of yourself dressed as a character from any of their licensed lines, and you could be one of three winners to score a $50 gift card. Entries are evaluated at Professional, Amateur, and Child level. Wheel of Time is currently kicking Dresden’s butt in number of entries, so represent! Entries close November 2nd.

NEW MERCH

Dresden Sculpture
McAnally's Mug

We have several awesome new pieces of merch available! First, the sculptors at Hamilton Collection have created an officially-licensed Harry Dresden sculpture! It’s based on Chris McGrath’s stunning cover art, which explains the hat. Reserve yours today.

Next, the team at Worldbuilders have created a pub mug worthy of Mac’s finest brews! As with all Worldbuilders merch, sales benefit Heifer International, which works to empower communities and combat global poverty.

Looking for something a little more sparkly? Badali Jewelry have added some lovely new options to their collection. Now you can get Elaine’s pentacle (a little smaller than Harry’s and perhaps more suitable for daily wear), or add some evil to your business look with cufflinks made from Lasciel’s or Nicodemus’ denarian coins.

And while not “new,” TODAY ONLY, Evil Hat Productions is offering 30% off PDF versions of their Dresden Files tabletop roleplaying games, including volumes 1 and 2 of the DFRPG and Dresden Accelerated.

That’s it for today! Have a spooky Halloween!
