Fundraising for the American Cancer Society’s Race for the Cure is going strong!
The first auction of UK-edition Dresden books sold for a jaw-dropping $450. Thanks so much to all that participated! Now, the second of three auctions is up for bidding: autographed first-printings of the four books in the Codex Alera! This auction ends June 27th. Fans can also make direct donations to the American Cancer Society here!
Additionally, fans of the Dresden TV show that live in New York City may be interested to know that Raoul Bhaneja, who played Kirmani, will be performing a highly-lauded solo version of Hamlet at the SoloNova Festival on June 25th. Expect an interview with Raoul on the next episode of The Butcher Block podcast!
Fundraising for the American Cancer Society
A note from Jim:
As we did last year, me and my gang of gaming friends are participating in the Relay for Life fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. If you’re of a mind to help support a good cause, need a tax writeoff, or are just feeling generous, feel free to drop by the link below and throw a few nickels in the kitty! The donation will applied in the name of our fundraising team, and maybe help us beat out those big corporate teams that outdid us last year. 🙂

Jim is also auctioning off a bunch of signed UK-edition Dresden books! All the money goes to the ACS, so bid generously. Unlike Madrigal Raith, they do accept PayPal!

Cats don’t hunt in packs… and that’s one of the reasons Dresden knows he’s up against something magical when a whole group of escaped leopards, tigers and lions attacks him. It hardly seems fair, since he’s barely started the case. But then, that’s what happens when you’re a wizard investigating the paranormal for the police, especially when you’re up against an ancient creature that is planning to become something even more terrifying than it already is…
Written exclusively for comics by Jim Butcher, The Dresden Files: Welcome to the Jungle is a brand new story set in the world of the bestselling series of novels, The Dresden Files, that’s sure to enchant readers with a blend of gripping mystery and fantastic adventure!
On sale May 21. 40 pg, FC, $3.99 US
