SDCC Clarifications, Harry’s Shield Bracelet, and Future Anthologies

SDCC CLARIFICATIONS

Following up on our recent post of Jim’s SDCC schedule, we have a couple clarifications to make:

Friday, 12:30-1:30 PM – Solo signing in Sails Pavilion AA18. Confirmed: NO TICKETS REQUIRED. None of Jim’s signings in the Sails Pavilion will require tickets, but arrive EARLY, because the line WILL be capped.

Friday, 2:00–3:00 PM – Signing at Badali Jewelry, Booth #532. A free ticket will be required for the signing. Come by the Badali booth (#532) any day/time before 12:30 on Friday to pick one up. It’s likely they’ll run out of tickets, so come get yours early to guarantee a spot.

And of course, at Badali Jewelry’s booth you’ll also be able to buy:

HARRY’S SHIELD BRACELET

The sensational artists and craftsmen at Badali Jewelry have unveiled the official, Jim-approved design for Harry’s original shield bracelet! This is the design Harry wears pre-Storm Front through Blood Rites, so it is NOT guaranteed against Black Court vampires with flamethrowers.

Badali also sells Harry’s pentacle necklace, an appealing design that balances elegance and style with enough substance to take out a Loup Garou! (Assuming you inherited it. Fighting loup garou with ordinary silver is not recommended.)

The bracelet will premiere at SDCC at the Badali Jewelry booth, #532, on Wednesday the 23rd/Preview Night! It’ll be available for sale online at BadaliJewelry.com starting Thursday the 24th. If you prefer to buy in person and you won’t be attending SDCC, check Badali’s website for details on other cons they’ll be attending in the future.

FUTURE ANTHOLOGIES

Also, anthology editor Shawn Speakman announced at a recent Reddit AMA that Jim will be participating in two future anthologies: Neverland’s Shadow and Unfettered 2. Jim has not released any details about his contribution to Neverland’s Shadow, which features stories from villains’ and antagonists’ point of view, but his current plan for Unfettered 2 is a Harry Dresden short called “Jury Duty.” Neither anthology has a release date yet, so keep an eye on this site for further details!
