The Dresden Files is a cool show, made me discover the books which I ordered from Amazon. Can’t wait for the show to return for a new season. Please Skifi don’t cancel it !
Dresden Files is about an interesting character who shows lots of room for growth and improvement, which he should be allowed to do through a renewal of his TV series.
The Powers That Be at Scifi are completely out of their minds if they don’t renew the show. It did better than Battlestar Galactica, and that got renewed…Dresden must return!
This show has alot of possibilities. It’s one of the strongest shows that Sci-Fi has put together yet. Harry is great! Bob is great! This a unique and original story going on here. If all the Sci-Fi shows were like this it won’t have to sell it’s self out with ECW to get it’s ratings up! Bring on a second season of the Dresden Files!

BTW in my letter I said that the only thing that would make me happier than renewing “The Dresden Files” would be for SciFi to resurrect “Firefly” with the original cast and Joss at the helm. Since I’m not holding my breath for that I ask them to please give Harry another chance.
Hey SciFi execs, WAKE UP!!! I discovered this show on I-Tunes , where it is a VERY popular down-load. I have the entire first season & I watch them over & over!!! I also plan on buying the DVDs. This ofcourse means $$$$$$$$$. Don’t lose this show. The only other thing on SciFi worth watching is DOCTOR WHO. And they buy that fron the BBC!!!!
They’ve already cancelled Stargate SG-1. They can’t cancel another great show! I’m sick of horribly written made-for-tv movies and want more of the fantastic series like Dresden Files, Stargate Atlantis, Farscape, and Dark Angel (Why’s they cancel that after two seasons?) Save The Dresden Files!
With all the crap that’s on tv these days, it’s often hard to come by something that’s unique, entertaining, and praiseworthy. The Dresden Files has done it.
Watching the show inspired me to go looking for the books. I started with “Proven Guilty”, but I was still able to jump right in because I was so well acquainted with the characters.
Please keep the show going.

Please dont let Dresden files be cancelled! This show is growing in character and what a character it is about! Harry Dresden, you have our hearts as well as our minds and we will rally behind your standard any day!
I just found the Dresden Files a short while ago and became instantly hooked. I’ve gotten and read the most of the books. I hope SciFi doesn’t cancel one of the only good shows on TV any more!
Is there some doubt as to whether the series will be renewed or not? I got the feeling SciFi was going to do another season of it.
I have been a big Dresden fan since I read book 1. My husband and I have both read all the books and wait for each new release. We were so excited that they were making the books into a TV show. We programed our TV to go to Sci-Fi every sunday night at 8:00 (CST). We never missed one. I truely hope that they will bring it back as there is nothing good on TV anymore and shows like this are family fun and great for the imagination. All 3 of our teen-aged boys watch with us and if they can’t be home for it, they record it to watch ASAP.

Its hard to come by good shows on TV these days with all these fake reality shows about. This show should be renewed for another season, the story is just getting started and promises great things to come. The characters of the Dresden Files are wonderful and fascinating to watch. Please scifi bring back The Dresden Files for another season!

If SciFi doesn’t renew this, and keeps ECW (and the other crap they show), I just may have to swear off watching the SciFi ever, ever again.
And as a Brown Coat, I have no problem also donning a Grey Cloak, or a Black Leather/Canvas Duster…. whichever. Just let me know which!!!
I started watching a few months ago. The Dresden files is one of the best shows out there. I hate watching something and then getting into it to have it taken from me. They can’t do this to the fans.
While I absolutely love The Dresden Files in book form, the TV show was extremely lacking. The characterizations were severly off and it lacked a lot of the character and charm I found so captivating in the book. Not to mention that the show completely lacked continuity and that Harry is running around with a wand (that was destroyed once already) and a hockey stick that is apparently supposed to be a blasting rod, but has yet to be explained. This show COULD have been great. Instead it’s mediocre at best and suffers from majorly bad writing. THe thing I mourn most is the Bondification of Dresden. He’s not a swauve, older man whom manages to get the girl and hardly really does anything (anyone notice Bob casts most of the spells), but a kind of geeky, barely put together guy with wit, courage, and the magic to sometimes back it all up. I would love to see that Dresden appear, but it seems he’s been supplanted for good.
Honestly the writing for the show was horrible… with so much to pull from …with such wonderful books the writers of the show should be taken out and beat senseless.
