Along with the fifth and final sample chapter, we have big news! Jim will attend San Diego Comic Con this year, and thanks to an arrangement between Penguin and Mysterious Galaxy, Ghost Story will be available for sale a few days early for SDCC attendees, exclusively at Mysterious Galaxy’s booth!
Here is Jim’s full SDCC schedule:

Thursday, 1:15PM – 2:15PM, 6A
Panel: Books vs. Graphic Novels and Comics
Writers often dabble with various forms of art as an outlet for their creativity. In this panel, authors discuss the process and collaboration involved in publishing a graphic novel versus a novel, as well as the role comic books play in the creation of their characters and story arcs. Panelists Christopher Moore and Ian Corson (The Griff), Jim Butcher (The Harry Dresden series), Tom Sniegoski (The Fallen series), Amber Benson (The Calliope Reaper Jones novels), and Matthew Holms (Babymouse, Squish) talk about the differences and similarities with moderator David Mariotte of Mysterious Galaxy.
Thursday, 2:45PM – 3:45PM, AA2
Signing with fellow panelists
Friday, 11AM – 12:30PM, AA19
Saturday, 4PM – 5:30 PM, AA19
With the exception of the post-panel signing on Thursday, Jim’s signings will be ticketed by lottery. We’ll post further details about the lottery as we receive them.
And for the fans champing at the bit for the next installment of Harry’s adventures, we present the final chapter in our Ghost Story preview, Chapter 5! We also have video of Jim reading chapters 3 and 4 at last October’s NY Comic Con Fan Dinner.
