Introducing: Books by Jim’s Friends

Hi all,
We’re looking at adding a section to the store of this site focusing on books written by members of the Jim Butcher fan community. If you have a suggestion of a book we should add, drop us a line (or comment on this entry) and let us know!
Today’s inaugural entry is C.E. Murphy’s Urban Shaman, due out in June of 2005.

Joanne Walker has three days to learn to use her shamanic powers and save the world from the unleashed Wild Hunt.

No worries. No pressure. Nevermind the lack of sleep, the perplexing new talent for healing herself from fatal wounds, or the cryptic, talking coyote who appears in her dreams.

And if that’s not bad enough, in the three years Joanne’s been a cop, she’s never seen a dead body–but she’s just come across her second in three days.

It’s been a bitch of a week.

And it isn’t over yet.

  1. wow, sounds interesting! and I think the new section is a great idea.

  2. Sounds like Tom Dietz. I haven’t seen anything from him for many years – looks like another fantasy writer is taking up the native american genre.

  3. I love this addition! Wickedly cool, my must read list just grew a bunch of titles

  4. GRRR… why are you all releasing books when I’m going to be deployed??? do you KNOW how hard it is to get books in Iraq?? grrr…

  5. I just picked this up at the bookstore last night. It is next on my stack of books to be read.
