“Changes” is released today!
Unfortunately, it’s still not yet available for Kindle, but we hope Penguin and Amazon will resolve their differences before too long. We invite folks to share their thoughts on the forum, but please, confine your remarks to the “Spoilers” section, and always place clear warnings in the subject line when creating a new Changes-related thread. Remember that many of Jim’s fans don’t or can’t read the book the day it’s released, so please be cautious and courteous of your fellow posters.

And yes, there will be more books in the Dresden Files series. Jim has plans for at least 20 total!

Loved the book. Best yet. The ending though. It was bad enough waiting for the next book in the series without a cliff hanger. It was brilliant!!!

Gah, man, every loss was argh…..the thing, the other thing, the third thing, and on and on……poor Harry needs a vacation and a hug.
OMG! So many emotions and ideas running through me at this point. Joy…Anger…Sadness…Excitement.This book could not have been given a better name. What a turning point for everyone?! I was excited that the one thing I wanted to happen actual did happen, but the ending…I am still in shock. So many paths have been opened up and we mere mortals can only wonder it will lead us and what lies ahead.
Mr. Butcher…how we hate you for the teasing and the waiting but we love you for what you give us. Cant wait for the next one! Please make it come sooner!

A Cliff Hanger!!!!! I wait a year and get a Cliff Hanger. Jim, you better be 10 chapters deep into the next book. Maybe a January release? I’m wishing my life away one year at a time. Holy Cow, this is a whole new series. Love it.

OMG….i just finished this wonderful book. Got it yesterday but made myself put it down and walk away a few times and actually went to bed last night and slept so i wouldnt just devour it like i wanted to since i knew it would be a year before a new one. I’m wore out like i always am after fighting side by side with Harry and friends but i’m happy. Okay i know genius takes time but it’s gonna be a long year of waiting. I’ve already read all the other books in the series a number of times but may have to just go back and start all over again. lol Great one Jim!!

Some info for people who need to use ebooks but are disappointed with the lack of kindle availability: I purchased mine as a mobipocket ebook from diesel-ebooks.com. I’m currently stationed in cuba, where 2wks minimum is usually needed for shipping. I’m not patient enough to wait that long for this book 🙂
P.S. I read the book on an iPad, because of something weird with amazon. I swear they had it available for preorder on the kindle weeks ago, but come publication day, I could only get the ipad edition. Good thing I bought one over the weekend!
so i just finished the book and WOW. this has to be one of the best books that i have ever read. Mr. Butcher, please have the next installment sooner than a year
Love the series. Just started reading Changes and loving so far. For everyone waiting for the Nook version, one day of patience paid off. It’s up on the main site… the Nook can’t find it yet, but you can order from the B&N website.
